AEK's WebRegistration and Management System
The AEK WebRegistration system is now available to agencies as a Hosted or ASP (Application Service Provider) solution. AEK maintains your patron, activity and facility information at our New Jersey Data Center Hosting Site. We handle the Web Interface, software and hardware maintenance, updating, backups and security. Your park district patrons simply logon to the system via the Internet and use the system to register for activities and classes, reserve facilities, and review their past registration activity. Your staff will use the system to monitor registration activities, handle walk-in, mail-in and phone-in registrations and administer the system. Gone are the requirements to maintain the hardware, software and security issues with an in-house Internet based system. AEK does all that for you so you can concentrate on running a great program schedule for your patrons.
Real-time, on-line processing
The AEK WebRegistration System provides instant updates to the Registration System database. There is no need to wait for the downloading of data at the end of the day. As soon as a person enrolls in a class on the web page, they will immediately appear on your web based class list. This saves time and money in that the patron enters the class registration information for you rather than phoning the registration in to your staff.
Flexible express class and facility enrollment
Many Internet applications employ the shopping cart approach for reserving or enrolling into classes and facilities. The disadvantage to this approach is that your class enrollments are not confirmed until you check out. What this means is that a class or facility that may have been available at the time you put it in your shopping cart is no longer available at the time of check out. This is particularly noticeable with First Come First Served Registration activities. The AEK WebRegistration System takes a different approach called Flexible Express Enrollment. As soon as you click on the enroll button, your enrollment or reservation is confirmed and you are immediately placed in the desired class or facility. At anytime during this enrollment process, you may view a list of the activities or facilities you have chosen for the day, with the option to cancel and make additional choices. This approach not only gives you the flexibility for creating the schedule you want, but also the piece of mind that your enrollments are confirmed immediately.
